Section 1

Refund Policy.

We offer two payment models. Each has a clear, predictable refund structure — no surprises.

Model A · Current
15% Deposit Booking
Standard booking · Pay rest at hostel
Guest pays 15% at booking — remaining 85% paid at hostel on arrival
Remaining 85% due 7 days before check-in to fully confirm the booking
If balance unpaid by deadline → booking is automatically cancelled
The 15% deposit is non-refundable — even for no-shows or cancellations.
Model B · 100% Prepaid
Full Payment Booking
100% upfront · Most secure option
Guest pays 100% at booking — fully confirmed reservation
Eligible for partial refunds based on cancellation timeline below
Bank / payment gateway charges are always non-refundable

⚠️ Any bank, currency conversion, or payment gateway charges are non-refundable regardless of the cancellation reason.

Section 2

No-Show Policy.

A no-show occurs when a guest fails to arrive by 11:59 PM on check-in day without notifying the property or MixDorm.

Group Dorm Split Rule
Groups of 4 or more may be split across multiple dorms — regardless of request — to maintain social integrity of dorm spaces.
Standard Booking (15%) No-Show
The 15% deposit is retained by MixDorm and not transferred to the hostel.
Full Payment Booking No-Show
100% of the booking amount is settled with the hostel — as per the agreed cancellation policy.

Section 3

Exceptions & Force Majeure.

Refunds may be granted under special circumstances. Each case is reviewed individually and requires written proof.

Eligible exceptions include:
Natural disasters affecting travel
Health emergencies (with medical documentation)
Government-declared travel bans
MixDorm holds the right to make final decisions on all exception cases. Written proof is mandatory for all claims.
